Marty joined Max Schott & Associates in February of 1999. He had previously worked as litigation director for Legal Services Corporation of Iowa (now Iowa Legal Aid) since 1982, and had worked as a staff attorney and senior staff attorney with Legal Services in Sioux City and Des Moines since 1978. He is a graduate of Georgetown University (1974) and George Washington University – National Law Center (1977).
Since coming to work for Max Schott & Associates, Marty has practiced in the area of workers’ compensation. He is a current member of the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) Core Group for workers’ compensation. He is also a member (and past chair) of the Iowa State Bar Association’s workers’ compensation section. He has made presentations at numerous workers’ compensation seminars since joining Max Schott & Associates.
